It has become quite a tradition in the modern-day cricket for the wives to accompany their husbands on foreign tours for a good support. The latest to the list is Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife Dhanashree Verma who has arrived in Australia to support her husband ahead of the Pakistan clash at the MCG in the T20 World Cup 2022 Super 12 stages and she wasn’t shy to announce it on Instagram with an image post.

Verma’s Instagram caption turned out to be an interesting one as the fans wondered if it was to take a dig at actress and model Urvashi Rautela who had earlier revealed her arrival in Australia with a similar caption.

“My heart led me to Australia. literally 😝Got to be there for my man & 🇮🇳” - Verma captioned her post on Instagram. The fans went bizarre over the caption and there was a flurry of comments from the fans who were reminded about Rautela’s post earlier which had the same words of “my heart led me to Australia”.

Notably, Rautela’s post about arriving in Australia shook the social media due to the rumours over her link up with Rishabh Pant. Although Rautela had unveiled on social media that Pant had waited for her in Delhi for hours, the left-hander spoke in contrast to it and denied any kind of such activity.

“Mr RP came to the hotel lobby and wanted to meet. Ten hours passed and I fell asleep. I couldn’t attend any calls and when I woke up I saw 16-17 missed calls and I felt so bad that someone was waiting for me and I couldn’t meet them. I told him we’ll meet when you come to Mumbai. We met in Mumbai but a huge drama happened with the paps and all,” Rautela told earlier.

“It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meagre popularity and for hitting the headlines. Sad how some people are thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them,” Pant responded to it without revealing the name.

On the professional front, Pant’s inclusion in the playing XI remains a question with Dinesh Karthik being preferred for the role of the finisher. The left-hander will be keen to make a mark if he gets an oppurtunity in Australia, a country which took him to great heights in the last Test tour.
