'One corrupt man can take away hardwork of organisation' - Venkatesh Prasad's cryptic Tweet alleging corruption goes viral
Venkatesh Prasad has openly criticised BCCI in the past.
Former India fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad is quite vocal on social media these days as he’s openly criticized certain players and bashed administration bodies for favouritism. Prasad once again took an indirect dig at the cricket organising bodies as he posted a cryptic Tweet on Saturday, September 09.
In his Tweet, Prasad implied that one corrupt and arrogant guy can take away the hard work of entire organization. Prasad took to X and wrote, “It takes one corrupt, arrogant guy to take away the hardwork of an organisation that is generally non-corrupt and get a stamp of corruption on the whole leadership , not just on a micro level but at a large level.”
Prasad’s Tweet is being considered a dig at both BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) and ACC as he’s been quite vocal about the ill practices of the two organisations over the past few days. The Bangalore-born cricketer has openly criticized ACC for keeping a reserve day for the India vs Pakistan Super 4 clash in Asia Cup 2023 when no other game has got the same treatment.

Venkatesh Prasad wants India vs Pakistan Super 4 match to be washed out
Prasad even wished for the highly-anticipated game to be washed out on the first day itself and further hoped for the rain to come down harder on the reserve day to serve as justice to the other participating teams. He further asked Bangladesh Cricket Board and Sri Lanka Cricket about who pressurized them to give a nod to have a reserve day for the India-Pakistan clash.
Apart from that, the 54-year-old has also lashed out at BCCI for not having transparency in the sale of tickets for the ODI World Cup 2023. Prasad has been the voice of millions of fans who’ve been facing difficulties time and again to book tickets for the mega event. The former fast bowler urged the BCCI to make the experience of fans smoother and easier so that they enjoy the home World Cup without any hassle.
