Pakistan reveal striking 'Matrix' jersey for T20 World Cup 2024
The T20 World Cup 2024 is slated for June and will be co-hosted by the West Indies and the USA.
A couple of days after the Pakistan Cricket Board released their 15-member preliminary squad, their jersey got revealed. The Pakistan Cricket Board, on its official X handle, revealed the official jersey they'll be donning at the mega-event to be played in June in the West Indies and the USA.
The kit, which looks like an irregular grid of deep green and dark green on the face of it, is a round-collared and buttoned one. The name of the country is in bold, which is in white-coloured font, at the middle of the fit. On one side of the extension of the collar which is divided by the array of buttons, is the emblem of Pakistan Cricket. The contrasting side entails the official logo of the T20 World Cup, with official sponsors Pepsi and HCL on respective sleeves.
The cover picture of the jersey reveal had Saim Ayub, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Naseem Shah donning the fresh-instated kit.
The jerseys have already been released for purchase, and Pakistani supporters all around the globe can purchase the Matrix kit at shop.pcb.com.pk.
Pakistan to tour Ireland and England ahead of T20 WC 2024
The Pakistani team will tour Ireland and England for a three-match and four-match T20I series from May 10 to May 30, respectively.
