Paris Saint-Germain share Shubman Gill's pictures after latter's visit to Parc des Princes

Young Indian batting sensation Shubman Gill recently visited Paris Saint-Germain's (PSG) home stadium Parc des Princes in France after the 2023 ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final at The Oval in London. The Rohit Sharma-led side suffered a 209-run defeat in the summit clash against Australia on the fifth day (June 11) of the one-off Test, which marked their second straight loss in the WTC final. 

Following the defeat in the all-important Test, the Indian players are enjoying their time off the cricket field with no events for them till July. Meanwhile, the young India opener decided to travel to Paris to visit one of his favourite football team’s home turf in Paris.

PSG took to its official Twitter handle and posted a photo of the India cricketer posing in the stadium, holding a number 7 jersey. 

"Namaste dosto, here’s India’s favorite cricketer and PSG fan @ShubmanGill at Parc des Princes," the Ligue 1 club captioned the post with a smiling face and heart-eyed emoji.

Earlier this month, Gill attended Manchester City's FA Cup final against Manchester United at the Wembley Stadium in London along with India teammate Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma. Manchester City won the game, defeating United 2-1. After that, City clinched their maiden UEFA Champions League title, after a 1-0 win over Inter Milan at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Turkey.

The 23-year-old congratulated City after their UCL title win, sharing photos with star players of the club like Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland. Besides winning the FA Cup title and UCL title, Pep Guardiola's men were also crowned the winners of the English Premier League 2022-23. India's next assignment will be a multi-format series in the West Indies.
