Nitish Kumar Reddy held the Indian innings together with a remarkable ton in the ongoing fourth Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The right-handed batter came into bat at number eight and scored his maiden Test century. He stitched a crucial 127-run partnership with Washington Sundar and saved India from being imposed a follow on.

The century was the momentous occasion for the 21-year-old after he was applauded for his small cameos throughout the series. He played crucial roles down the order but failed to score a half century. After he got to his maiden century, he celebrated by doing the famous Telugu movie, Pushpa step. As the social media was flooded with his celebratory images, the makers of Pushpa replied to Nitish in style.

“#AssaluThaggedhele #Pushpa2 #WildFirePushpa,” Pushpa team captioned while sharing Nitish’s video.
