But, the biggest crowd puller of Indian cricket, Virat Kohli’s arrival was something Bangalore was waiting for with bated breath. On March 18, Kohli arrived in Bangalore for the impending Indian Premier League 2024, after staying away from the public glare for almost 3 months.
The star Indian batter was received from the airport and got trailed by the cameras all across. The 35-year-old, who just became a father for the second time, marked his presence in the RCB camp. The team is now preparing for a cracking event at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, where they interact with fans and call it Unbox. RCB uploaded their blue-eyed boy’s arrival video with a mass-appealing ‘Faded’ song by Alan Walker in the background.

RCB’s search for Title glory continues as IPL 2024 approaches
It has been an arduous affair for RCB not having won an IPL trophy in their 16 long years of existence. They will look to put an end to the question this season. They will be taking on Chennai Super Kings in their den on March 22. This match will be the initiation of the 17th season of the cash-rich league. Overall, RCB have a forgettable record against CSK in Chennai and the southern derby is the most sought-after match.

This year IPL will be conducted in two phases. The decision comes in the wake of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the country. The elections are going to commence on April 19. However, the first phase of IPL is organised between March 22 to April 17. A total of 21 matches will be played in the initial phase and teams will be continuing with their home-away format for the time being.
