The coveted BCCI Naman Awards 2025 was held in Mumbai on Saturday, February 1. Several Indian domestic and international cricketers, including Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, were present at the star-studded event. Almost all of them were honoured for their spectacular achievements in the field of cricket.

During the high-profile gathering, Smriti Mandhana was involved in a fun and light-hearted conversation with Rohit, with Hardik Pandya and Jemimah Rodrigues having joined them as well. Rohit's amusing reply to Mandhana's question in relation to a current hobby had the audience in splits.

"So. what's the one hobby you've picked up recently that your teammates tease you about?" asked Mandhana.

"They tease me about forgetting. It's not a hobby, obviously. It's not a hobby, but no, since you spoke about teasing, this is what they tease me about that I forget my wallet, I forget my passport, which is absolutely not true. That happened like a couple of decades back, abhi nahi (not now)," shared Rohit.

"Make sure he's going, we just make sure that around his seat, he has not forgotten something," Hardik interjected.

Furthermore, Smriti Mandhana questioned Rohit about the biggest (most valuable) resource he had forgotten. Rohit's reply left the viewers in splits. Moreover, he successfully dodged the big question with a cheeky reply. Apart from Mandhana's questions, Sharma was also asked about winning the T20 World Cup for India as well during the coveted award of the apex cricket governing body of the country.
