Sachin Tendulkar cooks traditional way with family to celebrate 50th birthday in 'serene' village

Sachin Tendulkar is largely recognised as the greatest of all time in the game of cricket. On April 24, 2023, the legendary Indian batter celebrated his 50th birthday. He received numerous birthday wishes from his followers and loved ones on his special day.

Notably, Tendulkar did not spend his 50th birthday in a luxurious setting this year. But two days before his birthday, the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai hosted a crowded-house celebration. Notably, the legend has been honing the young talents of Mumbai Indians by being their mentor and motivator.

Meanwhile, away from the field, the Master Blaster celebrated his 50th birthday with his family in a remote and serene village. In the same vein, on May 5, Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter and posted a photo of himself with his wife Anjali, and daughter Sara. Not many know that apart from cricket, the maestro also possesses impeccable culinary skills. Hence, in his photo, he can be seen enjoying cooking food the traditional way on a clay pot.

Notably, his son Arjun was unable to attend since he is now competing in the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) for the five-time champion, Mumbai Indians (MI).

Sachin Tendulkar Foundation builds a school in Sandalpur of Madhya Pradesh

Speaking of his other notable activities away from the cricket field, Sachin Tendulkar is known for being involved in a lot of philanthropy and charity work. Despite attaining a lot of fame, Tendulkar still remains a very humble and down-to-earth person. Recently, in Madhya Pradesh's Sandalpur, his foundation named, The Sachin Tendulkar Foundation (STF) has built a school. Notably, Tendulkar's father was a teacher and shaped the future of many young kids.

In this endeavour, the school has been set up with the aim to provide free education to 2300 children which can help to increase the overall literacy rate of the region. Along with that Tendulkar aims to improve the overall life of the growing kids. The school is dedicated to the parents of the Indian legend.
