Star Indian batter Sanju Samson, who was once considered a contender for taking the wicket-keeping duties in the Indian team following injuries to Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul, has faced difficulties in finding a place in the team. His poor performance in the West Indies has contributed to this challenge, along with the exceptional batting performances of Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul in the Asia Cup 2023.

Unfortunately, Samson has not been included in the World Cup squad nor in the Indian Asian Games squad. Furthermore, he has been omitted from the squad set to play a three-match ODI series before the start of the ODI World Cup.

In response to this disappointment, Samson shared a cryptic post on Facebook, featuring a smiling emoji. Fans have been supportive, with one commenting, "Bro...be proud of what you have achieved so far," and another encouraging him to "stay strong champ."

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia on Monday night. While the squad was as expected, there were a few decisions that became talking points. One such decision was the exclusion of Sanju Samson, which upset many fans.

For fans, it is disheartening to see Samson go from being a potential member of the World Cup squad to being left out of all Indian squads. This is not the first time Samson has been left out, and his fanbase always gets disappointed when he is not selected.

One user expressed his frustration by saying, "What is injustice? Look at this man, and you will realize. Shame on Rohit Sharma, Agarkar, Dravid, and Ganguly for ruining Sanju Samson's promising career."

Another user commented, "Sanju Samson has been overlooked for the Asia Cup, upcoming Asian Games squad, India versus Australia series, and even the World Cup. It's safe to say that his international career is over, just like Shikhar Dhawan's."
