Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi recently got married to former Pakistan Cricketer Shahid Afridi’s daughter Ansha Afridi. Shaheen Afridi wished himself on facebook below his wedding photographs.

The fast bowler recently shared pictures of his special day with his fans on facebook and other social media profiles and wrote, “Thank you everyone for the warm and lovely wishes. Here is to the beginning of love and laughter with the special one.”

However, a few minutes after posting, he commented on his post congratulating himself which has gone viral all over social media.

Recently, Shaheen finished as the joint second-highest wicket-taker of Asia Cup 2023 as he picked ten wickets from five innings at an average of 23.50 and an economy of 5.73. However, despite that he couldn’t save his side from getting knocked out of the tournament in the Super fours stage.

Pakistan crashed out of the tournament after their two-wicket loss to Sri Lanka in the Super fours stage. Following their knockout from the tournament, there were reports of a fallout between Babar and Afridi. A few reports claimed that captain Babar came down heavily on his teammates and asked them to own up to their mistakes after their loss to Sri Lanka.

However, he was reportedly countered by Afridi who asked him to recognise the performance of the players who performed well. The comment further irked the Pakistan skipper who lashed out at Afridi. Seeing the situation getting out of hand, Mohammad Rizwan had to intervene and mediate between the two. However, Afridi put all the rumours of the fallout to rest as he posted a picture with Babar on Twitter with the caption, ‘family.’
