Sunrisers Hyderabad reveal their new jersey ahead of IPL 2024

The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are heating things ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League season with the announcement of their new jersey. Sticking to their traditional orange hues, the franchise has blended in striking black patterns across the jersey to create a fiery and bold look. 

The jersey, named the "Fiery Heat" by SRH, features an orange base with black designs woven throughout. The patterns give it a unique and eye-catching aesthetic that is sure to turn heads on the field. Complementing the jersey is a pair of black trousers with an orange stripe running down the side, once again incorporating the black patterned design.

SRH took to social media to announce the jersey, with star bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar modeling the new look. They captioned the post as, "Ready to unleash the fiery heat of Hyderabad Our New blazing armor for #IPL2024 #PlayWithFire." The jersey launch post has already created a buzz among the team's passionate fan base who are eager to see their side take the field in the vibrant new colors.

SRH to face Kolkata in their opening game of IPL 2024

In a bold move signaling a shift in leadership, SRH recently revealed that Australian speedster Pat Cummins, acquired for a staggering INR 20.50 Cr in the auction, will lead the team as captain in the upcoming season. This decision sees Cummins taking over the reins from the former skipper, Aiden Markram, marking a significant strategic shift for the franchise.

SRH's choice to appoint Cummins as captain shows their commitment to inject fresh energy into their campaign following a disappointing outing in IPL 2023, where they languished at the bottom of the table.
