Indian fans got a first look at team India's latest training kit featuring new sponsors Adidas ahead of the Asian giant's high-profile clash against Australia in the World Test Championship (WTC) final. Indian team's official social media handles shared pictures of the coaching staff and players donning the new training kits via their latest post.

BCCI announced their association with renowned sportswear manufacturer Adidas earlier this week. The Germany-based company will sponsor the Indian team's kit until 2028. The Indian team will wear the newly manufactured jersey for the first time during their highly anticipated clash against Australia at the Oval for the WTC final next month.

However, several members of the Indian team, who are already preparing for the summit clash in England, wore the newly rolled-out training kits manufactured by Adidas. Indian head coach Rahul Dravid, along with the members of the coaching staff and players like Shardul Thakur and Umesh Yadav, were seen wearing the fresh threads from Adidas.

Team India will don Adidas' iconic three stripes in the WTC final

India's deal with Killer Jeans is set to expire on May 31, with the Adidas deal coming into immediate effect after that. It is worth noting that Killer Jeans became India's kit sponsor after MPL terminated its contract with the apex cricketing board, which was originally set to expire this year.

Rohit Sharma-led Indian team will face the Aussies in the summit clash at the Oval, commencing on June 7. The match provides the Asian side with a chance to redeem themselves after they fell at this hurdle against New Zealand in the last edition. They qualified for the final after seeing off their upcoming opponents in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy earlier this year.
