Team India gets hooked to nail-biting FIFA World Cup final on big screen in Chattogram

18 December will forever remain a glorious night for Lionel Messi-led Argentina, as they etched their names in history following a 4-2 win on penalties against defending champions France in the finals of the FIFA World Cup 2022. The stakes only got higher every minute of the match which kept fans gripped until the penalties in the thriller of a contest between the heavyweights.

Team India, who are presently in Bangladesh, contesting in a two-match Test series were seen in rapt attention, closely following the summit clash. The BCCI took to social media to share a few pictures from the special screening which took place in Bangladesh with players seemingly becoming palpable with tension as the match headed towards extra-time.

The Albiceleste now have three titles after having won in 1978 as hosts, to the legendary Diego Maradona leading the side to win the 1986 edition and 2022 with Messi.

India look to seal Test series

Speaking about the Indian red-ball contingent present in the neighbouring land, the KL Rahul-led side won the first of the two-match Tests in Chattogram.
