'Unreal' - Suhana Khan praises Rinku Singh's batting heroics against GT

Rinku Singh's breathtaking assault against Yash Dayal in the final over of Kolkata Knight Rider's clash against Gujarat Titans left the cricketing fraternity speechless. While several prominent cricketers showered praise on the diminutive batter after his heroics against the defending champions, Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan also hailed the KKR batter via an Instagram post.
Nitish Rana's team needed 29 runs off the final over the match to register an unlikely victory against defending champions Gujarat Titans. The home side were in full control of the match before Rinku Singh played one of the innings of the tournament, smashing Yash Dayal for five consecutive sixes to seal an unprecedented victory for the visitors.
Suhana Khan, daughter of KKR's co-owner and Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, acknowledged Rinku Singh's swashbuckling knock, sharing a picture on her Insta story, which read, "Unreal." Suhana's close friend and Bollywood actor Actor Ananya Panday also shared a picture on her story and dropped raising hand emoticons in recognition of Rinku's heroics.
Coming to the match, the visitors were set a daunting target of 205 runs after Vijay Shankar's blistering half-century at the fag end of the first innings. Shankar's innings came after an enterprising knock from Sai Sudharsan, his second successive in IPL 2023.
KKR, in their reply, got off to a troublesome start after both their openers departed in quick succession in the powerplay. Venkatesh Iyer, who came in as the Impact Player for the visitors, anchored the chase with a brilliant knock along with skipper Nitish Rana. However, stand-in skipper Rashid Khan's hat trick turned the match on its head as the home side started to dominate the fag end of the chase. But Rinku Singh's unbelievable knock handed the hosts their first defeat of this year's tournament in a thrilling final over.
