Virat Kohli visits Chinmaya Tapovan Ashram in Dharamshala
The Indian team is in Dharamshala as they recently defeated New Zealand at the HPCA stadium.
Team India has been in fantastic form at the ongoing ODI World Cup. Led by Rohit Sharma, the side is currently unbeaten in the tournament, having played five games and winning every game so far.
Recently, the Indian team took on the Tom Latham-led New Zealand in the 21st game of the 2023 World Cup at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala, and after a brilliant showing, the Men in Blue managed to topple the Black Caps and maintain their winning run.
However, with the side still in Dharamshala, several stars were seen visiting the various attractions that the city has to offer. Similarly, ace batter Virat Kohli was captured visiting the Chinmaya Tapovan Ashram in Dharamshala after the side’s brilliance against New Zealand.
Virat Kohli’s form key to India’s success in the World Cup
Talking of Kohli’s performances, the 34-year-old has been in sensational form for India at the 2023 World Cup. The ace batter is currently the highest run-getter of the World Cup with 354 runs in five games. Furthermore, he has scored one century in the competition, against Bangladesh.
Kohli’s form has been key for India in maintaining their unbeaten run in the 2023 World Cup. Scoring 85 runs against Australia in India’s first game, Kohli helped the side win the clash. Subsequently, he completed his half-century against Afghanistan, and after a subpar showing against Pakistan, the 34-year-old scored a ton against Bangladesh and followed it up with a knock of 95 runs against New Zealand.
If the Indian team is looking to go all the way in the ODI World Cup 2023, they will be heavily depending on Kohli’s form and it could be interesting to see how the star batter fares for his side in the upcoming game.
