Avesh Khan is currently plying his trade for India B in the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024 fixture against India A. The high-octane clash is being played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. On Day 3, Saturday, Avesh was engaged in a fun banter with the crowd.

The M Chinnaswamy Stadium is home to Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise - Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). While a decent number of fans came out to watch some of the top Indian cricketers in action, they did not forget to chant for their IPL side.

When Avesh came to field on the boundary line, he was greeted with RCB chants from the fans. The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) pacer was trolled last year after his animated celebration following a narrow win against RCB went viral. Avesh slammed his helmet onto the ground after LSG eked out a one-wicket win against Faf du Plessis' men at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. However, on Saturday, the right-arm seamer was quite calm and composed, urging the fans to cheer louder for their favourite IPL team.

India B win by 76 runs

India B had finished Day 3 at 150/5, having already extended their lead to 240 runs. India A were staring down the barrel but an inspired bowling effort from Akash Deep in the morning session on Day helped Shubman Gill's side restrict their opponets to 184.

Chasing a 275-run target for a come-from-behind win, India A lost the wicket of Mayank Agarwal in the second over. Riyan Parag played a fluent knock of 31 off 18 balls before being dismissed. Shubman also threw his wicket away after getting a start. Dhruv Jurel and Tanush Kotian couldn't trouble the scorers but KL Rahul played a good hand of 57 runs. However, once the experienced batter was dismissed, India A's hopes dimished considerably. Deep played his shots and scored a 42-ball 43 before India B won the match by 76 runs. Yash Dayal was the pick of the bowlers, finishing with figures of 3/50 in 12 overs.
