You can’t force Bumrah to prove his fitness: Sanjay Bangar
Speaking of Jasprit Bumrah, the star pacer has been in excellent form as of late. It is well known that Bumrah is an injury-prone bowler, the pacer was out of action for several months before he made his return. However, the injury concerns seem to have reemerged as he left the field midway through Australia’s first innings and didn’t bowl in the second due to back spasms in the Sydney Test.

With his injury problems, Bumrah was included in India’s squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025, and former India cricketer Sanjay Bangar came forward and talked about Bumrah’s situation.
“You can’t force Bumrah to prove his fitness. He is at his peak, and sometimes you have to trust the words of a player. Bumrah deserves to walk into a playing XI the moment he gets fit from any injury. I don’t think he needs to play warm-up matches before the Test series in England,” he said on Star Sports.
