The Trinidadian fan-favourite at CSK who served the franchise for a decade will now be shifting bases to KKR for being their mentor for IPL 2025.
Dwayne Bravo, a legend in the 20-over circuit, announced retirement from the game, and shortly it was revealed that the Caribbean cricketer would be seen mentoring defending IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), parting ways from Chennai Super Kings (CSK). As soon as the official announcement was made, the internet was set ablaze by the former all-rounder, and CSK fans couldn't digest that their favourite cut his ties with the franchise.
Both of them have complemented each other perfectly well. While Bravo has been a significant component of CSK's four IPL titles with one of them as their bowling coach (IPL 2023), what CSK has meant to him was perfectly elucidated in an earnest clip which Bravo uploaded on his social media handles.

Wearing a gleaming smile on his face like he always has while representing the Men in Yellow, he started off by thanking the CSK faithful for all the love they've showered on him over the years, as well as requested them to pour in with their good wishes ahead of his new assignment.

He also concluded the video by expressing his perpetual connection with CSK's supporters, which was very much evident via his words and facial expressions.
