A 24-year-old woman’s ardent admiration and passion for the Australia all-rounder propelled her to embark on an arduous 14-hour journey from Colorado Springs to Dallas, where Match 21 between the Texas Super Kings and the Seattle Orcas was held. Her sole intent was to witness her favourite cricketer in action and support him fervently from the stands.

In what seemed to be an almost deserted Grand Prairie Stadium, with most of the crowd having dispersed post-match, the woman was heard shouting Stoinis' name at the top of her lungs. Her voice resonated through the open expanse of the venue, drawing the attention of a Texas Super Kings representative who was already aware of her presence and had begun a candid interview with her. This marked the beginning of an extraordinary and surreal sequence of events that was about to unfold.

Before enjoying a delightful interaction with the TSK star and capturing a cherished photograph she will undoubtedly frame and treasure for the rest of her life which included Stoinis signing the resplendent banner, the woman engaged in a conversation with the representative.

The photograph featured her alongside the towering athlete and a remarkable collage of Stoinis bowling in the TSK jersey, with a couple of images of the brawny athlete edited as the superhero character, The Hulk. The collage included the text, "14 hours drive to support him tonight." She shared her journey of how she began watching cricket and revealed her origins, disclosing that she was Afghan-born and had relocated to the United States quite some time back.

She disclosed that her passion for cricket began during her childhood when her uncles would gather to watch the sport. She first noticed Stoinis during his international debut in 2015, a time when she was still in school. She often discussed her admiration for him with her school friends and frequently expressed that meeting him would be a dream come true, which indeed did nine years down the line.

After her interaction with her favourite cricketer, she was asked about her feelings at that moment. Understandably, she was utterly amazed, spellbound, and at a loss for words. The adrenaline-revved woman could only express that she felt as though she was living in an absolute dream and couldn't believe what had gone down with her.
