During a recent promotional event, MS Dhoni took the opportunity of clearing the air on a ridiculous rumour about himself. The current Chennai Super Kings skipper touched upon the much-talked-about milk tale of his after being questioned about the most ridiculous rumour he had heard about himself.

"What is the most ridiculous rumour you've heard about yourself?," asked the anchor.

"I drink 5 litres of milk a day," replied Dhoni with a smile during the event.

The presenter was surprised to learn that it was a rumour. Dhoni then clarified that he used to drink only a litre of milk scattered over the course of the day.

"I used to drink, maybe, a litre of milk spread throughout the day. But four (five) litres; it's a bit too much for anyone," shared Dhoni.

The seasoned campaigner couldn't help but laugh off yet another bizarre claim about him making lassi (a sweet curb-based beverage) in a washing machine.

For the unversed, it was a widespread rumour back in the day that Dhoni's power-hitting prowess came from his consumption of five litres of milk per day. He entered the international arena with a fearsome reputation of muscling the ball a long way, something which he went on to continue for India and CSK over the years.
