Watch: 'Sar mein Kuch hai' - Rohit Sharma lashes out at Akash Deep after Australia's total skyrockets
Akash Deep projected the ball wide off the pitch which was collected by Rishabh Pant.
Indian team was overshadowed by the Australia in the first innings of the third Test at The Gabba in Brisbane. After Day 1 was washed out due to rain, Day to completely belonged to the hosts as they piled up over 400 runs on the back of centuries from Travis Head and Steven Smith. On Day 3, India were itching to close the innings but the frustration mounted as Alex Carey was resilient in his approach.
As the team was in dire need to end the tailender's stay, the last recognised batter, Carey was adamant on not giving anything in front of the Indian pace attack. Akash Deep who was handed the ball, in a bid bowl an outside off delivery, projected the ball wide off the pitch which was collected by Rishabh Pant. Evidently, unhappy Rohit Sharma lashed out at him querying “Sar mein Kuch hai” (do you have brains).

India experience another batting collapse
Speaking of Day 3, India managed to bowl out the Aussies for 445 runs. But the team’s dismal run with the bat continued as the Australia pace attack tattered their plans. They lost three wickets in no time before a spell of rain interrupted the game. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli were back in the hut scoring four, one and three runs respectively. Leaving India teetering at 22/3.

As the game resumed, things worsened for the visitors as Pant departed scoring nine runs just before another spell of rain interrupted the proceedings. India were 44/4 with a hefty 397 runs to trail by. For Australia, Mitchell Starc claimed two wickets, while Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins claimed one wicket each. It is worth noting that, before The Gabba Test, the series is poised at 1-1.
