WATCH: Virat Kohli endorses Mehidy Hasan’s bat in Bengali, video goes viral
India recently defeated Bangladesh 2-0 in the Test series.
Star India batter Virat Kohli on Wednesday, October 2 was seen endorsing Mehidy Hasan Miraz’s bat on social media. The Bangladesh all-rounder introduced Kohli to his bat manufacturing company ‘MKS’ and revealed that he had also gifted a bat to the Indian cricketer previously. He added that Kohli liked the bat and played with it and eventually asked the 35-year-old to speak on the quality of the willow.
Interestingly, the former India captain started speaking in Bengali, before switching to English and Hindi. He stated that the bats are of very good quality and encouraged them to keep up the good work.
“MKS bat, Khub Bhalo Achi (MKS bat is very good). Very good bat, keep doing the good work. You make very good-quality bats. Continue this work and provide cricketers with quality bats," Kohli said in the viral video.

“I’ve known Mehidy for a long time. He is a very good cricketer, and I am proud of him for starting his own bat company with few of his friends. I wish him all the best; may God grant him success. I hope this company rises above the rest,” Rohit said.
