India have started their Champions Trophy campaign on a positive note with a win against Bangladesh with a six-wicket win. There were also some great performances from some star players. The team was also recently seen practising at the Dubai International Stadium for their match against Pakistan that is currently going on.

During one of the practice sessions, a net bowler was seen bowling in the nets to India star batter Virat Kohli in the nets. The bowler's name was Ibrar Ahmad Dawar who was last seen playing in the ILT20 for the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders. The 20-year-old UAE-based bowler had taken four wickets from the seven matches he played with the best figures of 2/27 which he took against the Gulf Giants getting big scalps of James Vince and Jordan Cox. Virat Kohli was also impressed with Ibrar’s bowling where he displayed some great pace while bowling to the India stalwart.

“Well Bowled, Bahut Acchi Bowling Bahut help Kiya apne (Well bowled he has really bowled well. He has helped a lot. Thank you),” Virat said in the video released on social media.

Speaking of the current match this is the sixth time Pakistan and India are playing against each other in the Champions Trophy where currently 3 have been won by the Green Shirts and India has won two games as well. The last Champions Trophy match featuring these two sides saw Pakistan beat India in the finals of the 2017 Champions Trophy.
