The Kiwi wicketkeeper was Sundar's second victim of the day up until Tea on Day 1.
An absolute peach of a delivery courtesy Washington Sundar saw the back of Tom Blundell as India ended the second session of Day 1 of the second Test against New Zealand on a high. After being beaten by the previous delivery which went on with the arm, it was a dream delivery next up which saw the wicketkeeper-batter of the Black Caps being beaten all ends up.
It was bowled a tad bit slower from Sundar, who was brought into the XI for the second Test in place of Kuldeep Yadav. The delivery ripped through the bat-pad gap of Blundell, who attempted to go for a cover drive.
Sundar was brought into the fray for exactly what he has managed to do up until the Tea break. It was his second dismissal till that juncture after another snorter saw Rachin Ravindra look absolutely helpless after a fine half-century from his willow. This delivery, on the other hand, was bowled from wide of the crease and fired in a bit quicker.

Ashwin, Sundar tighten the screws on visitors
With the pacers not being that effective after a point, Rohit Sharma decided on bringing on the spinners to do the bulk of the bowling. Although Ravindra Jadeja has been pretty tight with his lines, the wickets have come from the Chennai-born spinners, Sundar and Ravichandran Ashwin.
At the time of writing, New Zealand were six-down with Daryl Mitchell being Sundar's latest scalp. Earlier in the day, it was Ashwin who rattled the Kiwis and overtook Nathan Lyon in the chart for the leading wicket-takers in the World Test Championship as well as the Australian's own all-time Test tally.
