An intense battle between the top two nations in world cricket is set to enthral the fans with some exciting red-ball cricket, and it is only fair that it gets the best in the business to call the action. WTC final's official broadcaster Star Sports has roped in former Indian cricketer and head coach Ravi Shastri to lend his voice for the commentary duties.
The former Indian head coach will be joined by ex-English skipper Nasser Hussain in the team. Former Australian skipper and Delhi Capitals head coach Ricky Ponting will also engage in commentary duties along with compatriots Matthew Hayden and Justin Langer. Veteran Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik and former Sri Lankan skipper Kumar Sangakkara will also join the iconic voice of Harsha Bhogle in the commentary team.
Meanwhile, the Hindi commentary team will feature Indian icon and former skipper Sourav Ganguly and his former teammates S. Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh. Jatin Sapru and Deep Dasgupta will also be a part of the Hindi team.
Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian team in the final after the Asian giants came up second best against New Zealand in the last edition's final. Meanwhile, Australian skipper Pat Cummins will be eyeing his first ICC title since taking over the captaincy duties at the fag end of 2021.
