'Sorry Ro, you’re not the cutest on the set anymore' - Ritika Sajdeh's funny Instagram story wins hearts
Indian cricketers are having quality family time ahead of the England Test series.
If ‘couple goals’ competition were held in the Indian cricket team, then surely Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh would be worthy contenders to win the title. Not only is the couple adorable, but the duo also makes sure to have fun and pull each other’s leg on social media and various talk shows. Ritika is accompanying Sharma for the Indian team’s five-Test tour in England.
After playing the World Test Championship (WTC) Final against New Zealand, the Indian team got a 42-day break, in which the players along with their families are bonding over by going out for a small gateway. Already players like Mayank Agarwal and Ishant Sharma have posted pictures on their respective social media handles.
Now, it’s the turn of Sharma’s wife who posted a video on her Instagram story featuring the 34-year-old and an adorable puppy. Ritika gave a heartwarming and cheeky caption for the story, “Sorry Ro, you’re not the cutest on the set anymore.”
On the other hand, Sharma too shared a beautiful post on his social media account, in which he seemed pretty happy and relaxed. Apart from that post, the Hitman also was seen in a jovial mood while playing alongside his daughter Samaira. He has also uploaded the photo in which Ajinkya Rahane’s daughter was seen playing with Samaira and gave a brilliant caption, “If you want to learn to be happy, let a kid remind you how! Pure joy with these cuties.”
Rohit Sharma looking to step up as an opener during the England series
While there is no doubt about the right-hand batter’s abilities when it comes to limited-overs format, Sharma is yet to fully prosper in Test cricket. All his seven centuries have come in India and he is yet to score one aboard, the ultimate test for any batter. He will surely want to rectify that record when he faces England in a five-match Test series.
England are indeed one of the most dangerous sides when it comes to playing in their own backyard. The likes of James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Chris Woakes, Jofra Archer, and Ben Stokes will no doubt ask continuous questions to the Indian batters in conditions that favor seam and swing.
