Sourav Ganguly’s brother Snehasish hospitalized post complaints of uneasiness

The president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Sourav Ganguly’s brother Snehasish Ganguly has been hospitalized after the complaints of uneasiness from him. Snehashish Ganguly who is the secretary of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), was admitted to the hospital on the Friday evening after he was reported to be unwell.

Snehasish had undergone angioplasty at the Apollo Hospital in January this year. He had consulted the doctor wherein his blood tests and cardiac CT angio suggested that he needed an angioplasty to revascularize and open up the artery supplying blood to the heart. In the same month, even Sourav Ganguly had undergone angioplasty at the Woodlands Hospital.

The former India skipper had been hospitalized in January after he complained to be unwell whilst performing physical exercise at home. Sourav, the BCCI president is currently in London and is keeping track of his brother’s health from there.

“He started feeling uncomfortable on Friday evening and keeping in mind the fact that he had an angioplasty done a while back, it was felt best to get him admitted to the hospital and keep him under observation. Around 1 am he was taken to the Woodlands hospital as he also had a fever. He is doing fine now and there is nothing to worry about,” a source updated about Snehasish as reported by Times Now News.

Sourav Ganguly recently shared a heartwarming message on his return to Lord’s

The BCCI president Sourav Ganguly was spotted at Lord’s on Thursday where the England-India second Test is underway. He was seen with the BCCI secretary Jay Shah and his wife Dona, and later with former England captain Geoffrey Boycott. The former India cricketer has a special connection with the ground which is known to all. He had thus taken it to Instagram to post a special message about the times he has had at the Lord’s.

“Came here as player first in 1996… and then as captain… enjoyed the game at Lord’s today as an administrator… India was and is in a good position all the times… this game of cricket is majestic,” Ganguly captioned his Instagram post.

Ganguly had made his Test debut for India at Lords. He scored a century on his debut and made it to the Lord’s honors boards. Six years later he led the side which won the historic Natwest Trophy by defeating England in the final by two wickets.
