The playoff stage of the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) began with the Mumbai Indians smashing down the Delhi Capitals. On Friday, the Royal Challengers Bangalore will clash against the Sunrisers Hyderabad and winner of the two will be up against the Capitals in the 2nd qualifier. Both SRH and RCB are currently relying on momentum as Sunrisers are looking to extend their 3-match winning streak while RCB hoping to end their 4-match losing streak.

Schedule logistics around SRH vs RCB

We had four players from MI and a couple from DC ahead of the first qualifier. One player from MI and both the players from DC can be excluded for picking up the players from SRH-RCB. This will help in carrying forward 3-4 players from either of SRH and RCB for the 2nd qualifier.

What shall be the combination ahead of SRH vs RCB?

Jason Holder has been brilliant in whatever role he has been given in the tournament thus far. Holder’s inclusion has helped SRH to turn the tables as they won four of the five matches where the all-rounder played. Holder has picked at least a wicket in all the five matches and a couple of them in four games. He is going to be crucial in the fantasy team and could cause trouble to Virat Kohli in the powerplay along with Sandeep Sharma. The Sunrisers have got enough spin options to get the better of Kohli which is why we have not picked the RCB skipper in our fantasy teams.

Safe team [Transfers left – 8; Points – 13690.5]

David Warner and AB de Villiers can be considered as crucial batters for their respective teams in the big matches. Both the players have produced some impactful batting performances in the second half. Hence, they will be safe as captain and vice-captain for the Eliminator.

Risky team [Transfers left – 8; Points – 13657.5]

The slowness of Abu Dhabi track could help Rashid Khan to run through the RCB line-up. Wriddhiman Saha has been scoring runs consistently ever since he got promoted up the order. Hence, the duo could be among the top performers on Friday.
