After a riveting semi-final between India Legends and West Indies, it’s now time for the second semi-final between Sri Lanka Legends and South Africa Legends. The game is set to be played on Friday, March 19 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Stadium in Raipur. The two teams will battle it out to meet India in the final on March 21. It goes without saying, an exciting game seems to be on the cards.

The Lankans have had an outstanding campaign thus far, winning five out of six matches. Their skipper, TM Dilshan, has been exceptional, to say the least. The Proteas, on the other hand, ended third in the points table. The fact that they defeated the Bangladesh Legends by 10 wickets in their previous game should keep them in good stead. In the league stage, they lost to Lanka by nine wickets.

Pitch and Conditions

The pitch in Raipur has been a belter for batting in recent times, though the spinners have also extracted quite a bit of assistance from the surface. Batting first should be the way forward since it’s a must-win game. The temperature will be around 32 degrees Celsius with no chance of a downpour.
