Here are the approaching milestones for the players’ to keep an eye on during the Sri Lanka vs India Test series.

44 – Runs Rangana Herath needs to complete 1500 runs and 150 wickets double in Test cricket. He will become the 2nd Sri Lankan after Chaminda Vaas to produce this double and the 27th player overall.
45 – Wickets Bhuvneshwar Kumar has picked in Test cricket so far; he will become the 16th Indian pacer to take 50 Test wickets if he picks 5 in this series.
49 – Number of Test matches Ravichandran Ashwin has played so far. He will be the 30th player to represent India in 50 Test matches. Since his debut, only Virat Kohli (54) has played more than 50 Tests for India.
88 – Wickets Umesh Yadav has picked in Tests so far; he requires another 12 wickets to become only the 7th Indian pacer to bag 100 Test wickets.
142 – Wickets Ravindra Jadeja has taken so far in Test cricket; he needed 8 more wickets to complete 150 Test wickets. If he manages to complete the milestone in this series, he will be the 2nd fastest Indian to 150 Test wickets after Ravichandran Ashwin.
384 – Wickets Rangana Herath has taken in Test cricket so far; he needs 16 more wickets to become the 14th player and 2nd Sri Lankan to take 400 Test wickets.
1903 – Runs Ravichandran Ashwin has aggregated in Test cricket so far. He needs 97 more runs to become the 19th player and 4th Indian with the double of 2000 runs and 200 wickets in Test cricket.
3798 – Runs Cheteshwar Pujara has scored in Test cricket so far; he needs another 202 runs to complete 4000 runs in this format. If he takes gets there in another couple of innings, he will be the 3rd fastest Indian to 4000 Test runs and the 4th fastest if he takes 4 innings.
7983 – Runs Rohit Sharma has scored in International cricket so far; he needs 17 more runs to become the 14th Indian to aggregate 8000 runs in International cricket.
