4. Failure of Pakistani middle order:
In response to such huge pressure, the Pakistani batsmen choked in front of the Sri Lankan bowling. After the first wicket fell at the score of 51 runs, the Pakistan middle order could not hold on as they kept losing wickets at constant intervals. Mohammad Hafeez and Sarfraz Ahmed did manage to get starts but failed to convert them into big ones. As a result of their collective failures, Pakistan were bundled at the score of 203 runs in 37.2 overs
