5. Fruitful spells from Senanayake and Thisara Perera:

After putting up such a huge score on the board, all the Sri Lankan bowlers had to do was to keep things simple and tight. Sachithra Senanayake and Thisara Perera utilized the pressure of the big score to good effect against the Pakistani batsmen and eventually both were rewarded with a number of wickets.
