India finished the clean sweep against Australia in the 3-match T20I series at Sydney Cricket Ground after a 7-wicket win in a last ball thriller. After winning the toss, Australia elected to bat first this time. Thanks to a brilliant ton from Shane Watson who scored unbeaten 124 in his 1st match as Australia’s T20I captain helping his side to post 197.

Chasing 198, India got a great start from their top 3 players. Dhawan got out for a quick 26 but fifties from Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli drove India towards the win. However both the players fell in quick succession and runs dried up a little as India needed 17 in last over. Yuvraj hit couple of boundaries and Suresh Raina, with an unbeaten 49 ensured India’s 3rd successive win. Here we look at all the stats and records recorded during the game and the series.
