The Sunrisers Hyderabad’s new opening pair of Jonny Bairstow and David Warner is setting new records in the ongoing season. Bairstow, making his IPL debut, smashed a brilliant 114 in their 3rd game against RCB. Warner, on his comeback to the IPL, scored his 3rd consecutive fifty and converted into a century this time. The duo shared a record partnership of 185 runs for the first wicket that helped them to finish with their highest total of 231/2.

Here are the stats and numbers that were recorded by Jonny Bairstow and David Warner with their hundreds:

114 – With his 114-run knock, Jonny Bairstow became only the 2nd player to score a century for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. David Warner scored 126 during the 2017 edition against the KKR also in Hyderabad.

185 – This 185-run stand is also the highest for any wicket in the IPL for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Warner-Bairstow pair surpassed the unbeaten 176-run partnership for the 2nd wicket by Kane Williamson and Shikhar Dhawan during the previous edition against Delhi Daredevils.

231/2 – The total of 231/2 by Sunrisers Hyderabad in this game is their highest ever in the IPL. Their previous biggest IPL total was 209/3 against the Knight Riders during the 2017 edition.
