Mushfiqur Rahim walked out to bat at No.4 after his team lost two wickets in the opening over and saw his senior partner Tamim Iqbal retire hurt a couple of overs later. But Rahim stabilized the innings along with Mohammad Mithun as the pair not only rescued Bangladesh but also yielded runs at a quick pace. Mithun’s departure meant yet another collapse for the Bangla boys but the former skipper stood throughout the innings and played a career-best knock of 144 to help the team finish on 261.
