Stats: Ravindra Jadeja completes 150 wickets in Test cricket
He became the 14th Indian and 101st player overall to pick up 150 and more wickets in the Test format.
Ravindra Jadeja, the No.1 Test bowler reached a new milestone as he completed 150 wickets in Test cricket during the ongoing 2nd Test match against Sri Lanka at the Colombo (SSC). Jadeja, who is playing the 32nd Test of his career, became the 2nd fastest Indian to reach the milestone. He cleaned up Dhananjaya de Silva for a first-ball duck on the 3rd morning to register the 150th wicket.
Thus, he became the 14th Indian and 101st player overall to pick up 150 and more wickets in the Test format. For India, only Ravichandran Ashwin has reached the 150 wickets milestone in fewer Tests as the Indian off-spinner took just 29 Tests to get as many wickets.

Thus Jadeja broke the record held by Mitchell Johnson (34 matches) to become the fastest left-arm bowler to register 150 Test wickets.
