Sunrisers Hyderabad unveil new jersey for IPL 2017
Sunrisers Hyderabad will be hoping to defend their IPL crown and establish themselves as a strong and consistent team amidst the other 7 teams.
Kolkata Knight Riders, Rising Pune Supergiant and now the Sunrisers Hyderabad, three teams have unveiled their new jerseys for the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The new jerseys are available on online retail portal for fans to purchase and support the 2016 champions. The opening game of the tourney will be played between title defenders Sunrisers Hyderabad and runners-up Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 5 at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium.
The team confirmed on their official Twitter handle that the fans can get their hands on the new jersey on the website amazon.in. Under the terrific captaincy of David Warner, the Sunrisers claimed their first IPL trophy last year after defeating RCB in the grand finale.
The team currently is preparing for the upcoming edition where they will be hoping to defend their title with a settled squad which saw some new additions in the auctions held in February. Two minor tweaks were including during IPL Auction, and that was the addition of Afghanistan duo of Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi.
The main area of concern for the outfit last year despite the win was the lack of a world-class spinner and by picking up not one but two quality spinners from Afghanistan they have addressed that concern. The team is now a force to reckon with.
Rashid Khan recently broke the world record for being the youngest to take 50 ODI wickets and his countryman Nabi, continued his impressive performances with both willow and cherry in the just-concluded ODI series against Ireland. SRH also signed Pravin Tambe, Mohammad Siraj and Chris Jordan among the others.
With a new jersey and a settled squad, Sunrisers Hyderabad will be hoping to defend their IPL crown and establish themselves as a strong and consistent team amidst the other 7 teams.
