Sunrisers Hyderabad were crowned as IPL 2016 champions after a spirited run in playoffs winning all the 3 games. They defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 8 runs in the final to lift their first IPL trophy. SRH was the most balanced team in the league with fast bowling being their main strength.
