Suresh Raina unintentionally hits MS Dhoni's bat with his leg; worships it later

A week ago, MS Dhoni, the veteran Indian cricketer hit the practice session of Chennai Super Kings ahead of IPL 2020. Moreover, other players like Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu and Harbhajan Singh also joined the team. The fans were elated to watch their heroes back on the field for the cricket carnival. After a long time, fans also got to watch, Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni batting together in a practice match during which the former’s gesture towards MS Dhoni’s bat won the hearts.

IPL is all set to get underway on March 29 with all the eight teams starting their preparations for the competition. The players are sweating it out in the nets to get back into the grooves. The video clips from different teams’ practice sessions are going viral on social media and it has increased curiosity among the fans.

Chennai Super Kings, the runners up of the previous season, look pretty much on toes and are working hard in the practice. They recently played a practice game as well at Chepauk stadium in which big players like MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina also featured. Meanwhile, an incident hogged the spotlight when the aforementioned duo was batting together.

Actually Dhoni and Raina were spotted discussing in the middle of the wicket when they were batting. At the same time, by mistake Raina’s foot touched Dhoni’s bat and as a mark of respect, he worshipped his willow in a heartwarming gesture. And, it also showed the importance of the willow in Raina or any cricketer’s life.

In the previous season, CSK lost a close final against Mumbai Indians. But, in this edition, they are not leaving any stone unturned in order to win the prestigious trophy. Also, the inaugural game of IPL 2020 will also be played between the same teams that locked horns in the finals of 2019 i-e- Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. And, it will be played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 29.
