He has been so good that he has managed to keep someone like Colin Munro out of the team. He is a valuable asset and the Kiwis would be expecting him to come good during the ICC Tournament. With Williamson to come after him, he has the license to go big from ball one.

Mitchell Santner is unarguably one of the best all-rounders in the shortest format of the game currently. He is an absolute gem of a player. Seldom would you a find a player who could deliver in all the three departments of the game.
Need to contain runs with the ball? Call Santner. Need someone to hit the ball a long way with the bat? Call Santner. Need a reliable fielder? Contact Santner. If it is his day, the Kiwi all-rounder can win you a match all by himself.
