Caribbean Premier League 2024 Stats

The 11th season of the Caribbean Premier League is all set to kick off. Six teams will be taking on each other in the tournament in hopes of getting their hands on the marquee title. The season opener of the competition will see Antigua and Barbuda Falcons taking on St Kitts and Nevis Patriots at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua on August 30. 

The CPL 2023 was won by Guyana Amazon Warriors after a thrilling bout against Trinbago Knight Riders in the summit clash. With the new season fast approaching, all eyes will set upon the star players who will be keen on making huge impacts for their sides.

The fans will be eager to find out who will end up as the tournament’s highest run getter, and wicket taker. In the CPL 2023, Shai Hope ended up as the highest run-getter of the competition after he scored 481 runs in the 13 matches that he played in. Saim Ayub followed him closely with 478 runs scored in 13 games.

On the other hand, Amazon Warriors’ Dwayne Pretorius was the highest wicket taker of the CPL 2023 with 20 wickets in 13 matches. His stellar performances were crucial in his side’s title winning campaign. With the CPL 2024 on the horizon, similar showings would be expected from several star players competing in the competition.
