ILT20 2024 Schedule
The International League T20 (ILT20) is all set to kick-start with its inaugural season commencing on January 13 in the UAE. The competition will feature six teams taking part in the top-tier league for the glorious ILT20 trophy. The tournament will be played at three venues in the UAE, namely- Dubai International Stadium, Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium and Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the month-long event.
As per the schedule, the season will be a treat for the fans as they will be glued to their TV sets and on the edge of their seats to keep a track of the International League T20 live scores as a total of 34 matches will be played in the month long event.
Furthermore, a total of 16 games will be held in Dubai, Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium will host ten games, and the Sharjah Cricket Stadium will host eight games. Few of the teams in the competition are owned by franchises that own teams in the IPL.
The league will see the traditional double round-robin format like any other domestic league around the world. This essentially means that, all the teams contesting in the event will play each other twice in the group stage before progressing to the elimination rounds.
The top four teams in the International League T20 points table will further progress to the knockout rounds wherein the franchises will lock horns in the ‘Qualifiers-Eliminator round’ followed by the summit clash for the coveted title. Dubai Capitals will take on Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in the first fixture of the contest at the Dubai International Stadium on January 13.
