PSL 2025 Squads
The wait for the all-exciting Pakistan Super League (PSL) is over as the eighth season will run from 13 February to 19 March. Defending champions Lahore Qalandars will engage with Multan Sultans in the opening match of the top-tier league.
In the history of the league, apart from Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans, no other franchise as defending champions has reached the final and Lahore will look to break the jinx and reclaim their trophy. The six teams of the league finalized their 18-member squad following the players draft which took place in December last year.
The 34 matches will be played over the span of one month which includes 30 group stage fixtures followed by four playoff fixtures. Since the league’s inception, the seven impressive years sees Babar Azam as the batter with the most runs as he has aggregated 2,413 runs in 68 matches.
Similarly, Peshawar Zalmi’s Wahab Riaz is the only bowler breaking the 100-wicket barrier in the PSL. He has racked up the most wickets as he has claimed 103 wickets in 77 matches. Fans will hope that the eighth edition sees new records being created and players push themselves to display interesting match-ups.
