WPL 2025 Schedule
The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 is all set to run from February 14 to March 15. This season the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to host the competition across four cities, Baroda, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai.
The tournament kicks off in Baroda's BCA Stadium with a blockbuster opener between Gujarat Giants (GG) and defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Baroda will host six matches before the action shifts to Bengaluru on February 21. The city will host eight matches till 1 March.
Lucknow makes its WPL debut this season, hosting four matches starting March 3. The final leg will take place in Mumbai, with the Cricket Club of India (CCI) serving as the venue for the last two league games, the Eliminator on March 13, and the summit clash on March 15.
The group stage wraps up with Mumbai Indians locking horns with Gujarat Giants and RCB on March 10 and 11. The second and third-placed teams will fight in the Eliminator for a shot at the finals. Notably, Delhi Capitals will not have home games in this season's five-team format. The WPL 2025 auction saw Mumbai's all-rounder Simran Shaikh emerge as the highest earner, fetching a bid of INR 1.9 crore.
