Tamannaah Bhatia opens up about her rumored relationship with Virat Kohli
"I think we spoke four words."
Virat Kohli, the all-format Indian cricket team’s skipper, is currently married to Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma ever since December 2017 when the duo tied the knots in Italy. However, prior to their relationship, Virat was rumoured to be in a relationship with a number of renowned faces in the Indian film industry and one of them was Tamannaah Bhatia.
The duo met during a mobile phone commercial back in 2012 after which talks of their relationship sparked. Nevertheless, neither of them spoke about the rumours. In the meantime, the 29-year-old actress, renowned for movies like Ayan, Paiyaa, Veeram, Baahubali: The Beginning, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, opened up on the matter after seven long years.
Words of praises for Virat Kohli
“I think we spoke four words during the ad film, that’s it. After that, I’ve never met or spoken to Virat. But, I must say he was better than most of the actors we work with. And it was quite intimidating,” Tamannaah was quoted as saying in a chat show chat show Famously Filmfare while sharing her thoughts about the 30-year-old from Delhi.
As far as their professional life is concerned, while Tamannaah will next be seen in movies like That Is Mahalakshmi, Devi 2, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Khamoshi and many others, Kohli will lead the national team in the five-match ODI series against Australia that is set to get underway on Saturday, March 2 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
From a personal front, Virat had a decent outing in the T20I series, having scored a half-century in the second encounter at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Banglore, though he couldn’t deliver in the first game in Visakhapatnam. India lost the series 0-2. The experienced campaigner would now be keen on turning his team’s fortunes around in the 50-overs matches.
