The three-time IPL champions, Chennai Super Kings have been one of the most closely connected and lively teams in the tournament. The cricketers of the Tamil Nadu-based franchise share a cordial relationship not only amongst each other but also with the fans and actors of the Tamil film industry. The actors and cricketers have met each other on several occasions and given the fans of movies and cricket moments to cherish.

Recently Tamil actor Suriya Sivakumar, who is all set for the release of his latest movie NGK, hosted a Q&A session with #AskSuriya- on Twitter to interact with his fans and none other than Indian cricketer Suresh Raina entered the live streaming of the video. The pattern is that the fans or anyone who joins the live video can post their questions for Suriya and he will answer them.

CSK’s Chinna thalla, Raina took the opportunity to post an interesting question for the ‘Singham’ actor. The veteran batsman asked Suriya who is his favourite cricketer from IPL franchise CSK is and why. Suriya was surprised and happy to see Raina join his live stream and answered his question honestly yet diplomatically.

Here’s the question posted by Suresh Raina:

Suriya reveals his favourite CSK player

The Ghajini and Singam actor said in the video: “What are you saying (laughs). It’s unbelievable you know that you had time and you were able to do this. Very very sweet of you. My love to all at home and to the little princess too. Definitely, I don’t want to be partial, but I need to name, I think you will accept it too. Mr. Mahi, MS Dhoni because I met him first in the team and after that, I had the option to meet you in Chennai,” Suriya replied back.

“Very very sweet of you to come and say hello first. I still cherish the picture we clicked with each other. Lovely to be in touch and completely enjoyed the last season. Always a CSK fan,” he added.

Both the personalities are very close to the people of Chennai. While the actor is all geared up for his film’s release on May 31, Raina played yet another final for the Super Kings, who lost to the Mumbai Indians.
