The current England Test skipper has recently surpassed Graham Gooch&#8217;s tally of 9822 runs to become the leading run-scorer for England in Test cricket. <p>The Former Black Caps skipper Stephen Fleming is known for his leadership skills and tactical abilities on the field. He is New Zealand&#8217;s second most capped player in Test cricket and the most successful captain. <h4><strong>7. Younis Khan (Pakistan) &#8211; 9116 Runs:</strong></h4>

<p>The legend, who is never regarded as a legend by most in his own country, Mohammad Younis Khan has now scored most runs in Test cricket by any Pakistani batsman. When Younis walked out to bat against England at the Abu Dhabi stadium he needed just 16 more runs to take over Javed Miandad who is widely regarded as the best batsman Pakistan has ever had. Younis now has 9116 runs in his career, from 104* Tests, has an average as good as 53.94 and has also scored 31 hundreds and 30 half-centuries.</p>

<h4><strong>6. Alastair Cook (England) &#8211; 9822 Runs:</strong></h4>

<p>The current England Test skipper has recently surpassed Graham Gooch&#8217;s tally of 9822 runs to become the leading run-scorer for England in Test cricket. While playing a Test series against India Cook broke the record for most centuries for England in the longest version- 23 and became the first captain to score a century in each of his first five Test matches in charge. He also became the youngest batsmen to reach 8000 runs in Test Cricket, 21 days younger to Sachin Tendulkar.</p>
<h4><strong>5. Brian Lara (West Indies) &#8211; 11953 Runs:</strong></h4>

<p>The Former West Indian batsman Brian Lara widely acknowledged as the greatest cricketer of all time. Lara holds the record for highest individual score in a Test Innings (400* runs). He also holds several cricketing record one among them is the Highest runs scored in an over in a test Innings, Lara scored  28 runs in the over bowled by Robin Peterson of South Africa in 2003.</p>
<h4><strong>4. Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka) &#8211; 12400 Runs:</strong></h4>

<p>The former Sri Lankan skipper Sangakkara widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen of all time. Kumar dominated the number one spot in the ICC Test batting rankings over the past decade. He not only batted, but kept wickets for his team to give them that buffer to play the additional batsman or bowler. He is the leading run-scorer in Test cricket for Sri Lanka.</p>
<h4><strong>3. Jacques Kallis (South Africa) &#8211; 13289 Runs:<br>

<p>Regarded as one of the greatest all-rounder’s of the game, in 2013 Kallis became the only player in the history of cricket to have scored more than 11000 runs and take 250 wickets in both Test cricket and ODIs. Underrated as a player for most part of his career Jacques Kallis is probably the most complete cricketer to have ever played the game. He is the highest run in Test for South Africa<strong>. </strong></p>

<p>The two-time World Cup winning Aussie skipper is the highest scorer in Test cricket for Australia. Pointing is the third Australian batsmen to score 10,000+ Test runs. He is regarded as one of the most exciting shot-makers in the game, we have neither seen someone manage the ball so well and play the pull shot the way he did. On 29 November 2012 the former Test skipper announced that he would retire from Test cricket after the WACA Test against South Africa.</p>

<p>Words are not enough to describe Mr. Sachin R Tendulkar the Master Blaster has acquired almost every batting record which is there to be taken.
