The Hyderabad-based franchise has 2 individual centuries against its name. Adam Gilchrist the 2009 IPL winner and Andrew Symonds managed to achieve the feat for this side. Gilchrist smashed an unbeaten 109 off 48 balls in a cracker of an innings that included 9 fours and 10 sixes. He is the only player to have scored two centuries as a captain. He and Laxman shared 155 runs for the first wicket partnership in that match. Andrew Symonds scored 117 off 53 balls against Rajasthan Royals in the 2008 edition. Unlucky for him, his valiant effort ended up in a losing cause. So these are the two centurions for DC in the IPL.

Delhi Daredevils has 6 centuries to their tally. The Superman from South Africa AB De Villiers scored an unbelievable 105 off 54 against CSK in the 2009 edition. David Warner scored a speedy 107 off 69 balls against the KKR. David Warner has another century to his name for DD. He demolished the Deccan Chargers bowlers when he scored 109 off 54 balls with an astounding strike rate off over 200. The South African born English rock star Kevin Pietersen scored his maiden hundred for the DD as well in 2012 edition. He took 64 balls for his century. The IPL fans witnessed three wonderful centuries being scored by the RR batsmen. One of those was the fiery, furious 100 off 37 balls struck by the muscle man from Baroda, Yusuf Pathan. It was the then fastest hundred in the IPL. Ajinkya Rahane the little man scored his fabulous 103 in just 60 balls against RCB and Shane Watson’s 101 in 58 balls against the CSK ended up in a losing cause. The all-rounder hit his 2nd and 4th hundred by a RR player in the 2015 season when he scored 140* against the KKR and helped his team win the game and seal a playoffs berth.
5. Mumbai Indians- 4:

The second most consistent side in the IPL has 4 individual centuries against its name. The Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, Sanath Jayasuriya, Rohit Sharma and the West Indian Lendl Simmons are the centurions of this heavy-weight side. The master smashed 100 off 66 balls against the Kochi side with a strike rate of 151. It was the legend’s maiden T20 hundred. Jayasuriya decimated the CSK bowlers and got his 114 in a mere 48 deliveries. Rohit Sharma scored his 109 against the KKR, while Simmons recorded his century in 61 balls against the KXIP side.
4. Delhi Daredevils- 6:

Delhi Daredevils has 6 centuries to their tally. The Superman from South Africa AB De Villiers scored an unbelievable 105 off 54 against CSK in the 2009 edition. David Warner scored a speedy 107 off 69 balls against the KKR. David Warner has another century to his name for DD. He demolished the Deccan Chargers bowlers when he scored 109 off 54 balls with an astounding strike rate off over 200. The South African born English rock star Kevin Pietersen scored his maiden hundred for the DD as well in 2012 edition. He took 64 balls for his century. Virender Sehwag mesmerized one and all with his 119 off 56 balls against the Deccan Chargers. Quinton de Kock is the latest entrant to the list with 108 runs off 51 balls against RCB in 2016.
3. Chennai Super Kings- 5:

The most consistent side in IPL history has 5 superb centuries against its name. Michael Hussey scored the first century. He scored 116 off just 54 balls and helped CSK post a total of over 200. Murali Vijay the talented batsman from Tamil Nadu scored an astonishing 127 in a matter of 56 deliveries. It is regarded as one of the best IPL innings ever. He scored another century against the Delhi Daredevils 113 off 58 balls. Suresh Raina scored his maiden IPL century in 54 balls. He is the highest run getter in the million dollar league’s history. Brendon McCullum scored his 2nd IPL century in 56 balls, an entertaining innings that was full of scoops and reverse sweeps and other innovative shots. It came in the 2015 edition.
2. Kings XI Punjab-7:

Despite 7 wonderful centuries the Punjab franchise has been a rather unsuccessful one in the IPL. Shaun Marsh started it all with his hundred from 69 deliveries against the Royals. The elegant legendary right handed batsman Mahela Jayawardene scored 110 off 59 balls for his maiden IPL ton. A relatively unknown Paul Valthaty scored a valiant 120 in 63 deliveries against CSK and helped his side chase 190. Adam Gilchrist the then captain of KXIP scored his second ton off 55 balls in the 2011 edition. <a href="http://www.crictracker.com/top-10-fastest-centuries-in-ipl/">David Miller the Killer scored an astounding 101 off 38 balls with a strike rate of 265</a>. Sehwag scored 122 off 58 balls in a crucial playoff game; and young Wriddhiman Saha showed his class by scoring a 55 ball century in the 2014 edition against KKR.
1. Royal Challengers Bangalore &#8211; 12:

Out of the 12 centuries, the marauder from Jamaica Chris Gayle has scored 5 of them. With a player like him in their ranks, the RCB side is easily the most entertaining team of the IPL. His famous 175 off 66 balls against PWI is regarded as the best T20 innings of all time. Gayle has scored a century in every edition of the IPL that he has played for the RCB with the most recent one coming in the ongoing 2015 season against KXIP. Apart from these two, he has other three wonderful centuries and if I continue to write about those I’m afraid there aren’t enough words to describe those monstrous knocks. Manish Pandey has scored a 69 ball hundred for RCB. AB de Villiers scored 133 off 59 in the 2015 edition against MI with 19 fours and 2 sixes. He and Kohli shared 215 runs for the 2nd wicket, the highest in T20 internationals. The skipper Kohli had brought up the remaining 4 centuries, all coming in the 9th edition of the IPL. 100* off 63 against Gujarat Lions. 108* off 58 against RPS. 109 off 58 against Gujarat Lions and 113 off 50 balls against Kings XI Punjab.
