'Thank you for being wonderful every time' - Yusuf Pathan responds to a heartfelt post by his wife on Instagram

Indian all-rounder Yusuf Pathan announced his international retirement two days back and received a lot of congratulatory messages from thousands of fans. Big names in the cricket fraternity also stepped up to wish good luck to the all-rounder for the new chapter of his life. Yusuf, brother of Irfan Pathan, played various knocks throughout his career that turned the fate of the Indian team in crunch situations. While he drew curtains on his international career, close family members are still pouring in their wishes for him.

The latest entry in the list is the beloved wife of Yusuf Pathan as she took to her Instagram handle and posted a heartfelt message for him. Pathan physiotherapy center is the hospital by the Pathan brothers in their city, and she posted her message through the same handle where she posted her clear feelings about the cricketer. She added that she is lucky to have known his life as a cricketer, and the amount of hard work he put into the game was inspiring.

“yusuf_pathan being your wife gave me an opportunity to observe you closely as a cricketer and experience the real form of hard work you have put into it. I feel so proud of your journey Alhamdolilah and really believe you deserve every bit of success that you have achieved and will be achieving in future as well Insha Allah. Happy retirement,” she posted.

The former cricketer was quick to share his response on his official Instagram handle over the message posted by his wife. He added,

“My dear wifey, you are always my strength. Thank you for being wonderful all the time and for always staying beside me during tough times. I always got extended support from you, and that stays closest to my heart.

“They say Big hearts shape little minds” –you are always there for our kids to keep a close eye on them and take care of. With my retirement, I can give more time to you, kids, and our family.”
