India was definitely not seen up to the mark in 2nd T20I.

Virat Kohli is a man who likes to lead by example. Since he has taken over the captaincy of the Indian side there have been various changes in the mindset of the team. For starters Kohli has given excess attention to the fitness and made it clear that there is no place for laziness in the current Indian team.
As a result of the improved fitness the fielding has gone a level higher. You can now see all the players running around, taking diving catches, and giving their 100% on the field. However amid all this the Indian skipper himself let down the team. While people love him for his aggression, it may have cost India a few runs in the second T20I against England.
Virat Kohli unnecessarily hits the stumps to hand England another run
It was the first ball of Hardik Pandya’s third over and he bowled a good slower ball outside off stump. Johny Bairstow hit it towards mid wicket and Pandya started attacking the ball himself. He did well and threw it back at his captain who was standing at the stumps on the non strikers end.
This is where Kohli made a mistake. The non striker Jason Roy was safely back in the crease but the Indian skipper decided to hit the stumps. In the process he not only conceded an extra run but he also hurt his knuckles. It was a needless effort and his smile while walking back made it clear that he too knew that.
The viewer’s did not take this well and attacked the India number three for his attitude. They believed that Kohli’s frustration from the previous over got to him. Yuzvendra Chahal had conceded consecutive boundaries of his last two deliveries and the captain was clearly not happy.
While the Indian fielding was definitely not up to the mark in the second T20I, it was surprising to see Kohli’s mistake once again which became a matter of discussion. The standards he sets for himself sometime become the very reason for his criticism. When his aggression pays off, no one has a problem with it, but any small mistake made by the man becomes a matter of national discussion.

Virat “we don’t crib about pitches but we do have a go at umpires and give away a cheap overthrow by acting like a toddler” Kohli.

Kohli has given away more runs through an *idiotic* overthrow than he scored in the previous match…

Why is Virat Kohli always so angry ? Today, he gave away one extra run and could have even hurt his finger ? Not the best example for kids either.

What was that unnecessary single conceded by Kohli by breaking the stumps? Sure, there's some frustration but imagine if India lose by one run here or if it goes into a super over #INDvENG

Kohli was still ticking after arguing with the umpire – gifts England an overthrow with a swipe at the stumps.

Kohli pointlessly smashing the stumps to both hurt his hand and give an extra run is one on the best things I have seen on a cricket field for quite some time! #INDvENGt20
